The Canadian Urban Institute in partnership with the University of Toronto Master of Public Policy, Master in Planning, Undergraduate Urban Studies and Ryerson Undergraduate Urban and Regional Planning Programs, brought together a range of professionals working in city-building to chat about their career paths and offer advice to emerging leaders. This by-invite event wass intended to provide opportunities for emerging leaders to connect to professionals by exchanging ideas and experiences.
The first portion of the evening included a workshop on making the best of networking opportunities facilitated by Ryan Ram from Matrix 360. Attendees then speed-networked their way into learning more about the kinds of careers available to those passionate about urban issues.
