Student fellow Janelle Brady joined Nana aba Duncan, host of Fresh Air on CBC, to discuss ways to talk about race with children. Janelle is a PhD candidate in the Department of Social Justice Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) and is a senior coordinator at the Centre for Integrative Anti-Racism Studies at OISE. In this CBC radio interview, Janelle shares her insights into ways in which parents and guardians can create an anti-racist home for children as well as different strategies to foster meaningful conversations about race with your children.
