Description

This panel brings together leaders in co-operative housing, community land trust advocacy, and community-led affordable housing development in Toronto to discuss alternative land and housing tenure practices and affordable housing solutions. The seminar will explore different neighbourhood-based cooperative and land trust initiatives, opportunities and challenges of building community-led affordable housing, and the types of public policy and funding that are necessary to support and sustain these approaches in the search for housing justice in Toronto.
