The School of Cities, in partnership with United Way Greater Toronto, is excited to announce that applications are now open for year four of the Leading Social Justice Collective (LSJC).
The LSJC team is hosting an online information session for anyone who is interested in the program and wants to know more. This will be a space for potential applicants to meet some of the team, receive more details on the program, and get a general feel for what the Collective is all about.
This talk will focus on Dr. Tozer’s recent work on how to catalyze equity-oriented energy transitions, presenting community-based and policy-engaged research on how energy retrofit programs can play a role addressing energy poverty in Canada, and on orienting policy using a vulnerability-based approach to address the determinants of energy poverty while working towards a livable climate.
